Banded Rhopalid
I thought at first that this was perhaps some sort of shield bug nymph. But a little research tells me that it is Stictopleurus punctatonervosus - or the "Banded Rhopalid" to use its common name. It's not that common to me, as I'd never come across it before. It is a scentless plant bug that can grow to about 6.5–9 millimeters in length. Apparently this is a widespread species, found primarily in southern Europe. But, here in the UK, it is mainly confined to central and the southern eastern counties of England although it appears that nowadays its range is continuously expanding in UK - something to do with the warming climate perhaps?
It is a little more detailed in large - Blip's standard viewing resolution doesn't do this one any favours.
