Job done

The soft fruit cage is now ready for spring. All that is left to do is to compost all the plants once leaves start to appear, and then to put the netting up when blackbirds start to nick the first goosegogs.

It was a good task to complete: the last big one of winter. 

And I was fortunate to be able to do it today: rain which has been forecast for the last 24 hours only arrived in today's gloaming, so I got a full day's work under my belt.

Blip has accordingly taken a back seat. I'll catch up in due course. Many thanks for all the empathy about my restless night. Last night I caught up and slept like a baby.
