They said there would be a few showers first thing, then clearing. Well, it's 5.30pm now, and I haven't seen any clearing showers at all - just relentless drizzle and rain.

I have been told it will clear up next week. Oh, I do hope so!!

In the meantime, thank goodness for the triffid echium and the honeyeaters. We had a flock of them feeding off it today. Well, there were at least three sometimes. Do 3 honeyeaters make a flock? Please say "yes"!

You can see the flower head is a mass of drops, and the honeyeater is a bit soggy too.
