Monster Creature

The Rower is off on his travels first thing in the morning, so it's blip and run for me today.

Just briefly, the Rower and I went on a long planned field trip to the Currency Creek Arboretum this afternoon. Dr. Dean Nicolle, the owner, has planted every single tree himself over a period of 20 years, and has more than 800 species.

It was a fascinating place, millions of birds, but the group was too big and noisy to enable us to do any bird blips.

This is one of the more bizarre seed pods I photographed.
