Foraging

Ever since I found and ate my first mirabelles a few weeks ago at Myreton, I have been on the lookout for more. We had an amazing haul today - on a walk around a local lake (flooded quarry) I spotted some at the edge of a field (see extra) and we also pucked up all these beautiful parakeet feathers.

For some reason, I fell asleep on the sofa this afternoon while reading my book. Maybe all that exertion and not drinking enough yesterday. I felt good afterwards and we went out to the park to throw balls for Merry. :-)
