Past it’s best

…But still interesting. This is the winner of my hyacinth race but I’m leaving it as it is until the others catch up (see series on Saturdays since May).

The extra is soup which we had this evening. Nice and thick.

Yesterday I mentioned it was our daughter’s birthday. It is also two of my cousins (not twins), one cousin’s husband, two son’s of cousins and last night we had a call to say my niece in Brisbane had her baby yesterday. She was the one I sent the baby cardigan and blanket to a few weeks ago.

Today was pick up day for the younger boys. They seem to enjoy coming to visit. Bob took Elijah to soccer practice while Charlie had a very short time on the piano (his heart isn’t it but he is improving) and watched soccer on YouTube. I made the soup and read a bit more of my book after putting the washing away.
