Islesburgh Tree an Thistles

A beautiful sunny day, although there was a heavy shower in Lerwick this afternoon.  A beautiful calm sunny evening, with midgies.

Monday morning arrived too quickly, again.  A day working with James on the mini essykert.  We headed north to do paper recycling waste in Northmavine and Delting, then back to town for general waste, on the smaller streets. Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's.  Working in the shop again this evening, and it's been another fairly quiet shift.  Feet up before bed.

Wish I had holidays booked just now, we've really had some lovely weather of late.  I'd love to get out and do my usual exploring. I've been up this road over the years, but never ventured off it.  I'd need to come back and see where this track would take me, I know there's meant to be a broch around here somewhere.  The thistles fairly brighten the landscape with that purples, not sure the crofter would agree.  Taken at Islesburgh, Northmavine.
