On This Day

Muir of Ord Station

This morning J and I boarded the 10:36 train to Inverness. Then we changed to the 14:00 train to Thurso. It's a four hour journey on the Far North Line. It's a single track with  passing places at a few  stations. There are seven request stops.

We have just left Golspie with many more stops to go. I'll be happy to breathe sea air at Scrabster tonight.

Blip on the back burner again I'm afraid.
