House Finch

Female House Finch. A very beige/bland looking bird. Doesn’t feel the need to be flashy like the male counterparts :-) There were a large number of them at the feeders to the extent that all spots were taken and some had to wait on tree branches and hangers to get a turn later.

Off to church this morning and then after having lunch, Kent headed back to church to play at a baptism but I stayed home to crawl in bed and get some good sleep. This extreme heat wears my body down.
