A sign of the times

Those times being the mid-1800s. Another backblip I'm afraid from my wanderings around Central London on Tuesday. I have no idea what elastic glue was, or what it was used for, but it looks like F. W. Collins of Earlham Street off Seven Dials thought it was a big deal. 

Meanwhile, today I caught up on some emails and cleared weeds and leaves from the frontage of our house, filling up one of our large garden refuse sacks. Not much blip opportunity there!  And I was too engrossed in the match, and celebrations, to think of taking a picture from the TV set of the victorious England women's team in this evening's Euros final.
