Liquorice

Had a bad nights sleep as my leg was painful but fortunately its been OK today.

Weather was fine and dry so I decided to get out into the front garden and mow the lawn and tidy up some of the unruly shrubs.  Filled the garden bin.  There were some left over bits which I've piled up in a corner and I will put them in the bin on Tuesday after its been emptied.

Then it was time to watch the footie.  England Women  v Spain in the Euro Final.  After extra time the score was 1 -1 so then it was a penalty shoot out.... which England won.  Well done to the team and the Manager Sarina Wiegman.

Newcastle United are in Singapore at the moment and this afternoon they played a pre-season friendly match against Arsenal.  Score was Arsenal 3 Newcastle 2. 

As an Emergency Blip I took a shot of some liquorice purchases I made when I was in Northallerton.  I love liquorice and I was pleased to find some different products.  I processed my photo to make it a bit more interesting.

*  Astrid ran her first Junior Parkrun today - 1.2miles.  Shes done lots of the normal Saturday Parkruns being pushed in her " running buggy "by Becky or Mike  but this is the first time she's ran in the childrens Parkrun which are held on Sundays.
