I had a great sleep up until about 3:40am - and then was wide awake for a good hour and a half.  About half an hour after I woke up, I decided to have a look out of the window, and I was rewarded with this beautiful pre-dawn glow.  That's Greenwich station lit up at the bottom of the picture - another interesting Travelodge view!

I was pretty tired today as a result - but had a good day at our staff summer away day.  We had a couple of hours in the office first, for the 'strategy' part of the day - which was actually pretty interesting - then walked over to London Bridge, to go to Electric Shuffle for lunch and a few games of the aforementioned shuffle.  Really good fun - and I won!  I don't quite know how I managed it, but I was at the top of the leader board for pretty much the whole time.

After that we carried on to Bermondsey Bar & Kitchen, for Mags's leaving drinks.  We were in an outside area - thankfully covered, as there was some torrential rain at one point.  Had a good time catching up with loads of colleagues, and several past colleagues, too, who came and joined us.  I really do love the people I work with :)

I'd thought I wouldn't stay too late, but ended up watching the first half of the semi-final in the women's Euros (England v Italy), and leaving around 9pm.  Picked up a wrap from Leon for my dinner on the way.  Very happy to have an incredibly short journey back to my hotel from there - it took less than 15 minutes from London Bridge to my hotel room door.  Had a v quick catch up on the phone with Tim, and watched the rest of the football (we won!), talked to him again, then tried to wind down for bed.
