The Street Where l Live

Overnight rain led to a dull start to the day but the sun soon came out.
Decided upon,  my now regular,  Sunday morning trip out to Grassington for a coffee and croissant. The journey there and back is stunning: the rolling hills and so much green.
This is the end of my street ( l live less than 100 metres away) and l stand here to see the bus turn the corner of Main Street.
The troughs and baskets that adorn the village are in full flourish and looking splendid.

Didn’t hang about in Grassington and caught the first bus back to Ilkley. Called into the ticket office to see Ruby who was working. We finalised a few plans for the week and we rehearse again tomorrow.
Now watching the football- please no penalties!
