A Touch of the Meds
Another busy day and even though it’s 10pm l’ve still more to do.
Posted some Vinted items, went into Ilkley to collect my prescription, couldn’t leave it any longer because l run out of one of my thyroid medications tomorrow.
Rebecca called as she is at a wedding today and wanted to know if l had any leg make up and surprisingly l did ( about ten years old but it worked!)
Had my weekly telephone conversation with my brother then drove to YorkGate for the afternoon.
As l was putting my apron on in the staff room l took my blip of the Mediterranean garden which the balcony of the cafe overlooks. The balcony wasn’t open as l got there because rain was forecast. But it never materialised and we opened up the area later.
We were fully staffed but run off our feet, we never stopped it was so busy. Could be because it’s the Leeds Ironman Event in Leeds tomorrow and the route of the marathon is closing the main road that leads to here.
Drove home, quick change then l drove to Skipton to collect Kitty as she has a baby sitting job in Ilkley tonight but no transportation as her mum and dad are still at the wedding and both older sisters are working. So l dropped her off and then drove to Otley as l had a ticket to go see an amateur production of two of the monologues from the Talking Heads collection by Alan Bennett.
Now back at home and waiting for her to text me to take her back to Skipton.
Won’t see her for a week because she is at a summer school at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for a ballet intensive. Rebecca is going with her and they are staying in the student accommodation there.
Verity is at an intensive with Phoenix Dance Company in Leeds and of course it’s Ruby an l down to perform this Thursday in Salford,
Might have to catch up on your journals tomorrow.
