Nicky and her Nikon

In the wild flowers

The concert last night was excellent, and we all enjoyed it very much. It rained the entire evening and this morning the clouds were again low and it was raining.

However after breakfast it stopped raining and we went for a walk with Xena while Tommy stayed at the apartment to work. We had a coffee in the village before walking home.

I made a chicken green curry for lunch, I wasn't sure how it would turn out as I could not get all the authentic Thai products here that I usually use when I make it at home, but both Tommy and Gavin loved it.

After lunch Gavin went off for a spin in Tommy's new car - he loves cars and has bought himself an older Audi S1 which I am told is rather sporty. While they were having fun on the road I went for another walk with Xena. It wa snow sunny once again, and I spent ages photographing all the beautiful wild flowers and butterflies, but I decided to blip this photo of Xena who had a great time sniffing all the smells amongst the wild flowers. I saw a Small Tortoiseshell butterfly which I have added as an extra, they are very pretty.

I also spent ages today working on an itinerary for a possible family trip in 2026 - obviously it all depends on Gavin's health so nothing to get excited about just yet. It's a trip to Japan that we had planned to do to celebrate Gavin's retirement, something we have been talking about for years. However it depends on so many things so it may or may not happen.

Tommy left late this afternoon to drive back to Munich, it was great to have him here for the weekend. The rain did not worry him as he detests hot weather.

A lazy evening watching TV tonight.
