Take A Seat
Back at work yesterday. Afterwards, Sophia and I planned to grab some food from a vegan café place as they usually do a chippy tea on Friday's. Unfortunately, when we got there, we found out they weren't doing it this week though. We were still more than happy to get food from there though. I had the special which was a turkey and bacon caeser wrap, and Sophia had a Philly cheese steak baguette.
A bit after we finished eating, we realised the buildings fire alarm was going off (we couldn't hear it until I was in our corridor), and looked out of the window to see some fire trucks approaching. We evacuated and realised only a handful of other people had left, which was concerning even if it did turn out to be a false alarm. Unfortunately, this meant we still didn't get to do the D&D session she had planned for me. and she has gone back to Swindon today, so we'll do it next time she's in Leeds.
I woke up at about 4:30am and realised the fire alarm was going off again! Despite the earlier false alarm, we decided we should still go outside, only to find no one else was out there. It then got even more strange when a delivery driver turned up with takeaway pizzas, which the person came outside to collect before going back in, whilst the fire alarm was still going off! Not sure whether we should be feeling silly or not, we decided to go back to bed.
Onto today, I dropped Sophia off at the coach station at midday on my way to football. It was really hot today and everyone got tired out really quick. It was still a good session though, lots of fun as always.
After getting home and showering, I decided to grab my camping chair (which is still doubling as a computer chair until I get an actual desk chair) and go sit in the park and read my book. I sat at the top of the hill where I first tried out my new camera, and sat there for a couple of hours.
As I went to leave, I noticed a caterpillar climbing into my backpack! I managed to safely remove it, and also took my first ever successful macro shots, my favourite of which can be seen here.
