Sweetie Shop

It was a lively morning at 5:30am, it was drizzling when I eventually got up, which just got wetter and wetter, it’s been such a wet day.

We were at a loss for what to do, and pottered for a while. TT chose a jigsaw from the pile in the house, and we sat down and did it. It was only 500 pieces, and we had it done by lunchtime. TT made us some lunch, then we were at a loose end again.

We decided to venture out. First stop was Harrington, a nearby village, where we saw a very wet DoE group. A lovely wee place, we wandered in the rain, then headed to Bakewell. Once more we wandered in the rain, popping into a couple of shops. Sweets and Bakewell tarts were purchased, along with stuff for tee.

We had a quiet evening, I did wander out later once the rain stopped. However the rain came on again, but not until I got back home.
