Kyoto 75

I need to catch up on a few missed blips, so this will be brief.

We woke up early to strip the bed and wash and dry all the bedding and towels to be left in the van. Finished cleaning the fridge now that it has had time to defrost. Finished packing our bags ready for the trip back home.

Then we set out to return the van and to enjoy our reward with our regular overnight stay in Hampshire at The Aviator Hotel.

I felt the sentiment expressed here in the description of the pre-diner cocktail I chose - “Kyoto 75” was appropriate, as a lot of hard work on everyone’s part got us there on time.

The dinner was such a treat too! I had the stone bass with mushroom gnocchi, sauted wild mushrooms, sea vegetables
and a smoked mussel velouté. Out of this world! The men shared the massive T-bone steak with sides.
For dessert I had rhubarb and custard for my last taste of English fare.

Then a very good night’s sleep in their very comfortable beds.
