Papadum Dips
Our last day in Darlington, so it was spent preparing for our departure.
As a reward for our efforts, we ate out at a local Indian Restaurant, “Cafe Spice”, where this photo was taken.
I love the colorful dips that come with the Papadums, which are like huge light, thin, crispy chips made with chickpea flour.
I know that Indian food tends to not look as good as it tastes, so I didn’t want to do a disservice to what was actually a delicious meal. I ordered my favorite - “Lamb Saag” with loads of spinach and spices. The Naan Bread we had to accompany the meal was probably the best I’ve eaten.
We were all very full after the meal, which was only half finished! But Kevin will benefit from the leftovers after we’ve gone.
