I'm simply overwhelmed by your generosity ... thank you to all that visited my journal on my special day yesterday.  Thank you for all the wonderful comments, hearts and stars.  Each and every one is so very much appreciated.  I truly love being a part of this awesome community.  I'm still working through all the comments to thank you personally but I will get there eventually.  ♥♥♥

Yesterday after I had posted my special blip we went up to the 76th Plainfield Farmer's Fair.  And we had a wonderful time.  This is just a simple country fair.  No rides. No games. No Midway.  Just good old country fun with animals, crafts and good food.  I had submitted four photos in for judging and was able to see how they faired.  I will let you know the results on Sunday after we return to pick up my submitted photos.

One of the highlights of this fair is the wildlife presentation by the Pocono Wildlife Rehab Center.  They bring some of their ambassador animals to show around and tell us about.  I've added into Extras a collage of the three different owls that they brought.  Ironically, the larger picture on the left is the smallest owl ... a Northern saw-whet owl.  The upper right is a barn owl and the lower right is a barred owl.  All are lovely.
