View to Chinon
Today we drove to Chinon and after arriving there we decided to walk up to the Château de Chinon. Payed the admission fee and got two information tablets and then - whoops - almost 4 hours went by! It's a big area to explore, many buildings and very interesting history. This town and surrounding area reminded me very much of our visit to Cochem Castle on the Mosel in Germany in 2020.
We also walked around the town center on our way back to the car, parked near the river Vienne, and it seems like a very nice place to visit.
We drove to our lovely B&B for the night in Le Controis-en-Sologne and since Daníel was craving pizza we had dinner at Signorizza Cheverny nearby.
