A sunny day in Guérande

Since we had taken a good walk around beautiful Vannes center last night, we decided to drive further after breakfast and spend the day in Guérande. What a great decision! 
The area in and around the ramparts is very charming and it's a lovely place to visit. Interesting history and just the right size of town for us to explore in a day. We could also find several of Philippe Geluck's "Le Chat" statues on display in the area, which we had loved during our visit to Bruxelles in 2023. 
On our way to our next B&B we took a small detour to see the salt marshes and buy local salt and palet bretons. 
Dinner was good in La Taverne and then we enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the sunset before going to bed in La Grolle, Rocheservière.
