All For A Tan

A sole painted turtle sitting on a log today. I haven't seen any in a long while, not even a head poking out of the water. I say water, I'm assuming under the green slime, there is some water.

I see them mainly in the spring as the come out of the water to warm up after winter. 

I think the orange markings work quite well with all that green.
