The Cut, Waterloo

Spent all morning packing (including trying on various outfits - and wrapping Lizzie's birthday presents).  Tim gave me a lift to Barnstaple after lunch, and I caught the train(s) to London.  Made my way across to Waterloo to meet my friend Sarah for dinner at Rosa's Thai on The Cut.  So lovely to see her again, and to have a good old catch-up - and the food was delicious, too.

Sarah kindly walked me over to Waterloo East afterwards (she wasn't in too much of a rush to get home, as there was lots of cleaning and tidying to be done back at home).  I caught the train to London Bridge from there, and then another to Greenwich.  Felt weird waiting at LB - almost like I could get on a train to Blackheath and walk back into my old life!  Anyway, got to Greenwich and checked into my hotel, gave Tim a call, and eventually got to bed.
