A brilliant start to
the day, but thunderstorms are
still in the forecast

 I was out on Mission Flats before 6. The sun had already put in an appearance and all looked golden this morning. I had hopes to find an eagle but that was in vain. I cruised to the end of the road to get my long shots. I could get no closer to the osprey's nest as someone was camped in the turnaround I usually use. 

I am home today with some errands to run later in the day. Hopefully, I will avoid the thunderstorm that's promised in the forecast.
