A load of mugs.

A quick visit to town this morning, and I saw this collection of Toby jugs in the antique shop. I am not a fan of them, but they do look happy. I didn't know that the name drives from Toby Philpot, who was the subject of an old drinking song, The Brown Jug, penned by Francis Fawkes and published in 1761. Here endeth the lesson for today.
