Red Admiral at Plas yn Rhiw

SUNDAY

The  first stop today was the National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw which is less than 2 km from where we are staying – a delightful manor house (see extra) with ornamental gardens, wonderful views, and a café that serves fantastic food. The butterfly photo was taken in the kitchen garden. 

From there, we headed over to Aberdaron to visit the NT interpretation centre, sit by the beach, and enjoy a coffee. While there, I bumped into my hairdresser Catherine.  Such a small world!

Back at our accommodation later in the afternoon, I went out for a 4 km run before showering and getting ready for the evening out in Abersoch with dinner at The Potted Lobster – the perfect way to wrap up the day and the last night of our break.
