Concert in the Dunes

It was too hot to wander about today, the museums were closed (Monday closing seems universal) and I didn’t fancy a long drive for another caves visit, so while S&S headed out l stayed around the guest house and attempted some problem solving. A marathon session with Halifax was epically useless, a shorter session with Lebara less so but still didn’t fix my lack of voice calls and SMS. Escalated though, that should work wonders. I consoled myself with a pleasant lunch and a German-style Weißbier.
S arrived back just before the gates to Mingsha closed and we headed out into the dunes, giving way to camel trains as we went, towards the big pop concert that was taking place in the Crescent Lake resort. Big hits performed by local bands apparently with a great light-show, spots, lasers, drones, thousands of phones. It was really pretty good!
