Ann St in Bloom

Lazy days are becoming the norm, I’ll have to find some get up and go. Late on I finally headed out for a wander down to Stockbridge to see what was new. Well, an M&S Foodhall has opened, adding to Scotmid, a Sainsbury Local, the Co-op and Waitrose. Much needed then. The Tile Shop has gone and a cosmetics store is moving, while Paper Tiger is opening an outlet to fill a non-existent gap in the market and the long vacant Ping On site looks like being taken on by an Italian Restaurant. I wonder if anyone bothers with reality based business plans anymore?
It looked like rain was coming so I strolled home via Ann St, always a favourite when it’s in bloom, had a catch-up with Shugs & Arnie, watched the golf highlights, searched and failed to find a decent film to watch (started three) then read for a bit.
Smart move from Joe I think though it must be killing him to step aside.
