School pickup
We collect Charlie and Elijah from school on Tuesdays. The school has a great system. You all park along the street before the children come out. The surname of the kids is displayed on the sun visor so a teacher can call the children as you slowly drive forward to the pick up bay. It must be a lot safer than all parking and individually picking up the kids and driving off. Once the children are ready it only takes a couple of minutes to collect them.
We drove to Orange to see my surgeon this morning. The tests showed no new cancer but some scar tissue which causes discomfort. All good and I see him again in 12 months. That’s always a relief. Phew.
The extra shows the wide river valley where we live. On either side are mountains (Katoomba in the Blue Mountains and Orange on the central tablelands). It’s just under an hour travel to Orange.
