Pollination

The local High School has a Pollinator Garden and it works - lots of bees today. The flower in the picture is a Silphium species, but there is also milkweed, bee balm and spiderwort among other wild flowers. It's not just the bees that love it - when these flowers go to seed the goldfinches will be all over them.
