Ride-On Goes For A Ride

I didn't intend to do #nomowsummer this year as Mish suffers from itchiness which could be caused, or made worse, by grass pollen but I haven't been able to cut the grass since I was told that the little ride-on mower couldn't be repaired as spares are no longer available.

After a long wait, a guy from Hertfordshire Garden Machinery came to pick up the big ride-on for repair. I was pleased that he agrees with my diagnosis - trouble with the ignition barrel. I was told that he wouldn't have a problem moving the machine as he has a winch. He came in a new van without a winch. :( He and I had to push the heavy mower out of the glasshouse and up the ramp into the van. Health and safety wouldn't have been impressed. Fingers crossed that the parts are still available to effect a repair.
