Flooers

Went across Sandport Bridge in order to go to Tiso - there is so much Heras fencing around that I wondered if our dinner at the Roseleaf with T & C tomorrow was still going to happen. It seemed impenetrable at first. Highways have had to put up one of those yellow signs saying 'Roseleaf open, business as usual'. There is a wee gap.....

Bought eye-wateringly expensive (but full-cushion) socks from Tiso - think they'll work better than the gel insoles on my oh so finicky feet! Failed to take a photo when I was out, though, so snapped the flowers on the table. The sweet peas have finished for the year, more's the pity - daisies are fine but lack the beautiful scent.

The bi-coloured yellow ones are from shungiku plants that have bolted in the heat - can't keep up with all the greens we need to eat!
