Oops!

You’d think that making a mug of cappuccino style coffee would be easy. M always makes my coffee for me, using a cafetière and a milk frother. It’s always delicious. However, he’s not been around for a couple of days during this week, so I’ve attempted it myself (rather than reach for the instant coffee). Well, I’ve managed to make a reasonable job of it but can’t seem to get the quantity of coffee (at the correct strength) and the milk/foam ratio quite right. As you can see, this morning’s effort spilled over.

I can see that the only solution is for M to continue to make my coffee for me. My old boss used to call this method of doing such a poor job that nobody would ask you to do it again ‘studied incompetence’. It worked for him, his teas and coffees were truly awful.
