After a short shuttle bus down to the pretty village of Alana it was uphill most of the way today - 1800m of ascent to the Col Olen. Atmospheric misty much of the way - but it stayed dry and we enjoyed coffee at a summer pastures village then a super picnic on the first col. Tonight’s Refugio is very smart too with super hot showers and small dorms - we’ve a girls room and a boys room.
