Bus into town

Here we all are on the electric bus into town. This bit was fine but the next stop the door wouldn’t open, and an elderly man could t get on.

The. It was our stop (the library to take the jigsaw and book back) and the door wouldn’t open , and it wasn’t even dial a bus it was the full sized one.

We went for soup at The Rose House. They had lovely lentil and fresh baguette bread. You get two big bowlfuls for under a tenner. I mention the price cos my daughter and Dave and Ben were at Gloagburn the other day and they are charging 7 quid for a bowl of soup!! Robbery. Gloagburn Farm Shop have ridiculous prices at the best of times.

We had a coffee afterwards in Nau Bau and a slice of chocolate torte which was delicious.

S wanted to go into Vision Express as he is having trouble with a bit of sand in his eye. We were hovering outside the shop waiting for the Optician to tell us if she could see him today when the door burst open and a right altercation took place between the Manageress of the shop and a young female jakie with her hands full of designer glasses and clearly doped up to the eyeballs . The Manageress was wrestling with her and we stood so she couldn’t get away with them. The manageress managed to get them back but then she slipped on the paving at the door. Jakie took off and then walked back to meet a young Asian guy who was clearly her Pimp, probably stealing to order and he would sell them on and she would get a pittance for drug money.

There are so many jakies in Perth now. I saw a few the other day with the fruits of their thieving stuffed up their jumpers! They have their own language and shout as loud as possible to each other. What a life to have , it’s a terribly sad way to live.

We walked as far as the bus stop and the rain started pelting down so we got the next bus home.
