Stooks...

A very grey & rainy afternoon today. I went out (late) in the hope of some dry weather - but it was not to be. I found stooks in the usual place but they were a bit bedraggled with quite a few of them having collapsed.

Stooks - a traditional arrangement of sheaves of cut grain in a field. 

This is the only place that I know of that still does this. Extra is a closer version.
