Big Bent Bangers

Saturday. Storms overnight and torrential rain, which cleared the air nicely. Luckily the rain stopped in the morning and it brightened up again for the afternoon. We had a family gathering to celebrate Gubs’ 18th, so Ed, Tara, Gail and Luca joined us for the weekend—always lovely. I went to collect my iMac in the morning: thank heavens, it is working fine now. It turned out the problem was a fault with the external drive it was using as a Time Machine, not the Mac itself… a much less expensive problem to fix! It also means I can edit photos properly again, so I’m able to start catching up with my blips.

Later in the afternoon we had a lovely big barbecue with beef and lamb burgers, sausages in many sizes, kebabs, piri piri chicken and sweetcorn, a big Tel Aviv salad and potatoes. Milo & Liv joined us after they both got back from work. Gubs is out on the town again—making the most of being able to get into the clubs legally now… one more early morning pick-up for me, I expect.
