Dirty Stop-Out

An early blip in the bag before 5 am… my early morning Dad’s Taxi run to collect a very happy Gubs from Canterbury after his 18th birthday night out with friends. The night was so successful that the pick-up time nonchalantly segued from 2 am to 3.15 am, before finally settling at 4.30 am. I filled the time listening to podcasts in the car and grabbed an early breakfast at McDonald’s; it was quite a relaxing night, apart from the near-total absence of sleep. My day at work felt rather sluggish and protracted, and the hot, humid weather did not help. Time for an early night!
