Through a Window Twice

We left Zhangye for Dunhuang this afternoon. This is a view North taken from the train, an alien landscape playing host to never-ending lines of wind turbines. The Extra is from the taxi taking us to a little place just South of where I thought we were going.
My quick notes for the day read, A day of surprises: rain, coolish, dog doo, nice museum, locked hotel room, small station, cabin crush chaos, really high mountains, 390MWph sub station, melon fields, end to end desert, Japanese tourist chat, coconut yogurt drink, hot, village gridlock, guest house, payment denied, Halifax AI pish, no SMS.
I think I can make sense of all that apart from why Halifax think they operate a help service.
