Secret Loop

As expected it was raining today and I spent 10 minutes trying to decide where to take Arlo his afternoon walk. We probably have about 10 local walks with unequal rotations, but I couldn't motivate myself for any of them. So I decided a wee bit further down to Portmore Reservoir and briefly into the hills, but along the way I decided to go up to what I thought was an anglers' car park... but no... it was a forestry track that wound through the trees then up to the view above. I carried on a bit to explore and saw a path that headed straight up the hill which I didn't have time for so returned and continued the loop back down to the "car park". It was initially raining but was so warm I had to take my raincoat off and it eventually stopped. The full reservoir loop walk is about 3-4 hours so it was good to find a new 90 minute walk for the list.
