Powers through Penrith (Northern Lakes) on a through train to Glasgow.

You wouldn’t know the train was travelling at speed given the clarity of the image. No sensation of movement here.

Back in Kent for a week on a planned visit to get ahead with a few tasks in advance of having to move stuff into store.

Good journey down, car, bus, train, underground, train. Tiring but more relaxing than the A66, A1(M), M25 and M20. The Penrith train was over 30 minutes late into Euston which means there may be delay repay to claim.
