Danish for the Day

I spent the morning helping to make aebleskiver - Danish meaning apple slices. No apples are involved - the name comes from the look of these little spherical pancakes as you turn them in the pan (not particularly evident in the picture). In Denmark they'd be served with powdered sugar and jam. In Wisconsin it's maple syrup - but of course.
