A horrendous day weatherwise, nonstop rain and gloom, the highlight was a quick trip out to the bottle bank to deposit the glass. This delightful verge caused me to pull in and take a few pix, such a riot of colours. It's now a soft mizzle and I've just ventured down to Kitchen Cove for a breather - the tide was out, the swans were in and a woman was swimming.
PS I meant to say the duck elusive bird as yet unrecorded by Sean is  a merganser
