An unexpectedly lovely day after all the rain with the colour intense and the air fresh. Come in and have a cuppa, the door's open!  Or I have a nice Kiwi pinot in the fridge should you prefer and Himself has bought some very tasty olives from Bantry market .

I'm following Arachne's  advice today - I'm getting better at doing that! I went for a midday swim which was blissful then spent a long lunch down by the pond, reading - a  paper on saintly imprints on stones should you be wondering, fascinating. I have done something I should have done - started the wardrobe scrutiny for our excursion to the south of France next week. Oddly, I think I'm over-frocked!
