A Bit Of Sunshine

Mid afternoon we visited some friends in our village as he'd had a couple of days in hospital this week, and after a good chat we got home late afternoon.

Sat outside on our return I could see the farmer had baled his hay on the field next door. On taking  a photo' I preferred the view looking Southerly towards Monmouth over our house, with the sun out behind the clouds. We had rain last night but the 25C heat of the day soon dried it up and didn't save me a job of watering the garden!

We're off out for a cheap and cheerful meal tonight with our friends and neighbours, Archie and Jayne. She's offered to drive so I will enjoy a drink - or two!
