St Margaret's
Fellow blipper SilverImages arrived early morning, and straight away we headed off in my car into Ross on Wye town centre (Herefordshire, UK) for our full english breakfast (other types are available!)
We followed this with a visit to St Margaret's Church (11th Century) in The in the village of the same name in The Golden Valley of Herefordshire. The location is superb and we parked the car on the grass under the shadow of a tree in the grounds. The photo's shows the surroundings. After drooling over the 1520 AD hand carved wooden Rood Screen, Ken did his meditation whilst I boiled the kettle for our cuppa which we enjoyed under the tree admiring the church and location.
We had a visit to St Peter's Church in Peterschurch not far away where the cafe was open and a group were practising hand-bells.
On the way home we stopped off at St Bartholomew's Church, Vowchurch, and after some photo's sat opposite on a bench by the river and bridge with another brew discussing the meaning of life!
Certainly a very warm day, we've some neighbours around this evening to watch the sunset from our rear patio as we sip cold alcoholic drinks. With a worldwide crash of computer systems affecting airlines, banks, surgeries, etc, Mrs BB will need a glass or two when she gets in!
