On This Day

Pittenweem

I'm sure I've blipped this terrace of houses before but it would be years ago (I have). This morning the ten year old and I set off for a bit of time à deux in Pittenweem. Scones were involved. We then joined the rest of the gang at the crazy golf. I had a wee wander down to the harbour while they were going round the course.

The ten year old and I went back to Elie so that I could buy a wee gift for the people who have looked after the house and the garden this week. It felt very hot at 24°. There were lots of seals out in the water and some lovely birds - yellowhammers, baby finches and swallows - flying around.

Back to the house and the girls are planning a six hour party. I expect to be off to bed long before it finishes. If it ever starts!

It's our last night in the holiday house. My BiL is kindly cooking again. Cameraman is feeling marginally better but still not great. He's missed nearly all the fun this week.
