Polar bear and walruses

Day two of the cruise and we saw a polar bear. He was sleeping on his favourite island ( they are not territorial but our photographer says they have places they like.)

Pressure off! We’ve seen one and hope to see more.

Walruses. I may have mentioned that with Fred Olsen 20 years ago we couldn’t get to them because of the ice.  No problem these days and we sailed past some at midday. (Extras….along with a stunning cloud)
