Clearer Identification

Another day and it's back to summer again, albeit perhaps briefly. I did the butterfly survey at Charfield Meadow and today it's predominantly Common Blues and Brown Argus (and of course Meadow Browns and the Whites, mostly Large). 

Common Blue and Brown Argus aren't always easy to tell apart with the wings closed - it's all about the spots - but with wings apart there are a few clues. The main butterfly has self identified as a Common Blue, the extra a Brown Argus, and who am I to tell a person what they are and what they are not? ;-)
